The primary vision of our Care Groups at Oakridge is to: Spread a joyful passion for the absolute, eternal supremacy of Jesus Christ in all things, to all peoples. Care Groups exist to help believers live out this vision and to grow in their obedience to Christ by providing intimate fellowship, encouragement and accountability. We believe that by living out this vision we will accomplish our mission as a church which is to: Glorify God by delighting in, declaring, and displaying the gospel of Jesus Christ.

As one reads through the Bible it becomes clear that the Christian life was not meant to be lived alone. The New Testament is filled with "One Anothers," calling us to live life in community under the banner of loving one another as Christ has loved us.

To put it simply, we need each other if we are going to grow spiritually and reach the lost for Christ. Maybe you've tried it alone and ended up discouraged. The solution is that we must spend intentional time outside of Sunday mornings, worshipping, praying, encouraging, serving, applying God's Word, and reaching the lost together.

That's what we seek to do in our Care Groups. Each group is unique, but each is committed to building a community of loving, Biblical fellowship. If you are interested in visiting a group or want more information on Care Groups, please contact the church office at (651) 439-4882 or by email.
