This week we are going to read about the wedding in Cana from John 2 (Lesson 7 in Old Story New) and see that Jesus is the Creator in his loving act of turning water into wine. It was a generous thing to do. Imagine the surprise and joy of the bride and groom! But it was about so much more than good wine at a wedding. That's what we want to see this week.

Opening Time

Mrs. Anderson is again going to lead a craft time from 8:40-9:00 a.m. this year. What I love is that it's not just a craft to keep the kids busy. Beth is always intentional to keep the activity focused on God, related to the lesson, and on serving others. My kids love it! But they can't always participate because they arrive too late. We are making a change in our family schedule so our kids can be there by 8:40 a.m. It's a completely optional time, but I would encourage you to join us!

I would also like to introduce another new member of our Promise Kingdom team. Jason Schlicht will be leading our worship in song portion of the opening time between 9:00-9:15 a.m. Welcome Jason!
